More Than Brides Alliance: Gains for girls – We can end child marriage

The More Than Brides Alliance brings together international partners including Save the Children and local civil society groups to empower girls to decide if and when to get married and to make informed choices about their sexual and reproductive health and rights.

This briefing presents an evaluation of the programme “Marriage: No Child’s Play” in Malawi, Mali, Niger and India. It includes lessons learned in relation to core modes of working including: (1) building girls’ knowledge and confidence to make informed decisions; (2) creating an enabling environment; and (3) pursuing alternative life paths.
