Center for Muslim Youth Studies,Southeast Asia Coalition to Stop the Use of Child Soldiers
A report by Southeast Asia Coalition to Stop the Use of Child Soldiers (SEASUCS), based on a series of human rights education workshops involving Muslim youth from Southern Philippines. The workshops were aimed at promoting understanding of international child rights standards, particularly the Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on the involvement of children in armed conflict. This module provides guidance and practical tools that may be useful to those who intend to work on children’s rights education in Muslim communities. It is dedicated to the thousands of Bangsamoro children and youth who are struggling for peace, human rights, justice and freedom.
