No part of the world is currently affected by migration and displacement as much as the Arab States. Even though the region only accounts for five percent of the global population, it holds 32 percent of the global amount of refugees and 38 percent of the global amount of internally displaced persons. At the same time, humanitarian crises have had a devastating impact on the quality of education in the region.
This report presents key findings on how migration, displacement and education interact in the Arab States. In addition to this, recommendations on how to support education for migrants and displaced people in the region are presented.
