Migrating and Displaced Children and Youth in Tunisia: Profiles, routes, protection, and needs

The study examines the profiles and migration routes of migrating and displaced children and youth on the move to and through Tunisia, as well as their experiences and vulnerabilities to protection violations in Tunisia.  It was commissioned by and conducted with support and guidance from Save the Children, to address key information gaps for migrating and displaced children and youth in irregular situations in Tunisia, and to generate empirical data to inform mixed migration programming and advocacy. It is based on quantitative data from MMC’s 4Mi project and interviews with children, youth, caregivers and key informants, held in Tunisia February to April 2021.
