A MenCare Fathers’ Group Manual for Sri Lanka

This manual contains group education modules intended for fathers and their partners, more often spouses, in the plantation region (tea estates) of Sri Lanka. The purpose is to promote gender equality within the home and children’s healthy development and overall well-being.

Research and background information is given on both the plantation region as well as fatherhood, child development and well-being. The second half of the manual is organized into 11 sessions and information on how to organize a group, assign a facilitator, and address one or more of the topics addressed in each session.
