Save the Children
Save the Children Sweden’s report ”Mellan hopp och förtvivlan” (Between Hope and Despair) shows that many children of vulnerable EU citizens live isolated from society, with access to neither school nor extracurricular activities. Save the Children Sweden demands that Sweden respect the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) and provide school and healthcare to these children – just as is provided for other children in Sweden.
The goal of the report is to highlight children’s voices and how they themselves experience their situation, to underscore the situation of vulnerable EU citizens’ children and their parents, and to influence the government with the help of the report’s demands.
