The Livelihoods and Food Security Fund funded a Maternal and Child Cash Transfer programme (MCCT) in Myanmar (January 2016 – March 2019).  The programme aimed to improve nutrition outcomes for mothers and children during the first 1,000 days, through the delivery of a monthly cash transfer of 15,000 MMK (9.8 USD) to pregnant women until their child is two years old.
This short learning brief presents findings from interviews with Midwives who distributed cash transfers as part of the MCCT Programme.
