Making it Personal: A guide for master facilitators

HIV transmissions often occurs through sexual activity and reproduction, and working in the field of HIV prevention therefore requires addressing people’s sexuality and sexual practices. There is a need to discuss values, beliefs and myths about HIV, AIDS and sexuality both with children and adults, since sexuality is an integral part of our identity from birth.  

The Making it Personal material aims to enable long-term and in-depth approaches to HIV prevention, focusing on changing attitudes and behavior of both children and adults. This guide for master facilitators was developed to assist in the training of facilitators and others in sexuality education, gender, SRHR, HIV and AIDS and children’s rights.
