This course teaches how to use popular social media platforms to discover and monitor content related to possible human rights violations. It will also share best-practice for preserving content and structuring data for further analysis and use in advocacy. Through this course you will learn how to verify content, including confirming the time, date and location of when an image or video was captured, and analyse features such as weapons or other military equipment.
It is recommended that the prior course: Introduction to the Universal Periodic Review (See below), is completed first before taking this course.
