Severe acute malnutrition (SAM) and disability are two extensive world-wide health issues. Even though they can be correlated and can cause and influence each other, there’s not much data on their co-existence. Through a longitudinal cohort study following SAM survivors up to 7 years postdischarge in Malawi, this study aims to describe the prevalence and patterns of disability among children with SAM.
