This report is part of the “Local to Global Protection” (L2GP) initiative, focusing on the situation in Zimbabwe. The country has been through several political, economic, and social crises in recent years. This case study explores the protection implications these multiple crises have caused. Since the country’s decline has taken a toll on the local population, this paper presents how communities perceive the threats they are facing daily. Additionally, the report “Local Protection in Zimbabwe” researched the steps that communities have taken to ensure self-protection, in order to cope with potential future crises.
