Livelihoods Approaches as a Conservation Tool

This publication presents livelihoods programming through the lens of environment conservationism, particularly conservation of coastal environments. It also provides motivation for why conservationists should care about livelihoods.

In order to aid planning of a livelihoods programme, resources, methods, and various tools are provided. The livelihoods outcomes are closely linked to conservation goals and shows how both agendas can be interlinked for positive outcomes.
