The study on the impact of Covid-19 and Ebola virus disease (EVD) on children in the Democratic Republic of Congo was carried out in August

2020 in Save the Children International (SCI) intervention areas. The provinces concerned by this survey are:

  • Beni (Far North) and North Kivu
  • Ituri
  • Kasai Oriental
  • Kinshasa
  • Lomami
  • South Kivu

The objective of this study was to enable Save the Children to understand the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and the Epidemic Ebola virus on children and identify their needs. This study, its results, and recommendations will be shared with the different parties and stakeholders in order to adapt our responses and interventions to save thousands of children’s lives.
