Save the Children Lebanon
The Households Assessment Post-Ceasefire Vulnerability and Needs Assessment conducted between January and March 2025 provides critical insights into the urgent needs of the population in Lebanon following the ceasefire between Lebanon and Israel on November 27, 2024. Despite the ceasefire, violence and occupation persist, affecting the lives of many. The assessment, involving 4,099 households, reveals significant vulnerabilities in food security, livelihoods, health, nutrition, child protection, education, WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene), and shelter. Key findings include high levels of food insecurity, disrupted livelihoods, limited access to healthcare and education, and significant shelter damage. Recommendations emphasize the need for increased funding, multi-sectoral collaboration, and targeted interventions to address these vulnerabilities and support the affected populations effectively.
