Lalita Wins Against All Odds

This is the Comic book for building knowledge of adolescent girls and boys covering issues like breaking menstrual hygiene taboos, ill consequences of child marriage, education and gender stereotypes. This comic book narrates three stories by Lalita with her friends. Lalita is a young champion and discussion leader. In one story, Lalita with her friend Rani not only fought the evils of child marriage and postponed one; they also educated the villagers about the legal aspects and consequences of child marriage. In second story, Lalita with her friend Deepika breaks stigma around menstruation and advocate for breaking gender stereotypes and taboos. These adolescent champions not only fought for the idea of practicing menstrual hygiene; they also educated girls and women on possible health problems one can face when not practicing good hygiene. In the third inspiring story, Lalita with her friend Puja, only fought the evils of gender inequality but also educated the villagers on the same.
