The Household Economy Analysis (HEA) baseline assessment was conducted to establish the baseline of the Systems Approach through Transformative Economic Empowerment and Resilience (STEER) Project in Koh Kong Province. The identified livelihood zone, the Koh Kong Mountainous Forest, Banana, and Fruits Livelihood Zone, is the STEER Project implementation area and the districts in the zone include Thmar Bang, Koh Kong, northern parts of Botum Sakor and western parts of Srae Ambel districts. Data collection for the study took place in Thmar Bang District. In this zone, the reference or baseline year covered the agricultural crop growing period from March 2018 to February 2019. The main objective of the research study was to provide capacity building and carry out Household Economy Analysis (HEA) baseline of the STEER Project in Koh Kong Province. The STEER Project promotes banana, cucumber and cashew nuts in the zone and it links commercial farmers to markets.
