Knowledge, Attitude & Practices Around Nutrition Endline Assessment Report (Lebanon, 2026)

This endline Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practices (KAP) assessment evaluated the impact of the SUBUL Cash Plus Nutrition Assistance (CPNA) programme among 629 households in Lebanon. Findings show significant improvements in nutrition-related knowledge, attitudes, and behaviours, with 82% of participants demonstrating improved overall KAP scores. The strongest gains were observed in food safety and hygiene practices and infant and young child feeding (IYCF), while improvements in maternal nutrition practices were more modest due to persistent economic and structural barriers. The results confirm that combining nutrition counselling with cash assistance can effectively promote positive nutrition behaviours, while highlighting the need for continued support to address affordability, access to nutritious foods, and sustained behaviour change.
