Kenya and Madagascar: Localisation Bulletin: Localisation in practice: April 2023 Issue

This month’s bulletin features examples of localisation efforts in Somalia and South Sudan. Access to funding for local and national actors has always been an impediment to their work. Save the Children International (SCI) Somalia currently implements through local and national partners programming in excess of $40 million representing 34% of the total SCI Somalia budget.

To put this in perspective, this is more than the total combined SCI budgets for Kenya, Madagascar and Tanzania country offices.
