Japan – Two Years On: Save the Children’s Response and Recovery Program

Two years have passed since the earthquake and tsunami devastated the north eastern coast of Japan. Since then, Save the Children has followed its five year plan with the intention of supporting children and their families in the hard-hit Tohoku region, and is working to support rebuilding efforts, based on children’s rights. This report monitors the progress and impact made by Save the Children in the recovery efforts two years on from the tsunami and earthquake that damaged so much of northeastern Japan.
