Intersection of Disabilities and Violence Against Women and Girls in Tajikistan

Based on the views of women and men between the ages of 18-65 living with disabilities or parenting children with disabilities, this study explores the links between disabilities and violence against women and girls. It finds that women and girls with disabilities in Tjekistan often live in social isolation, but also that discrimination is common. The study also presents a number of recommendations on how to improve the lives of women and children with disabilities in the country.
