The International Technical Guidance on Sexuality Education offers recommendations for the scope of a Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) programme, as well as instructions on how to plan, implement, and monitor a CSE programme. This revised version of manual takes a rights-based approach within the framework of human rights and gender equality, and supports learning about sexuality and relationships that is focused on the best interest of the young person. The revised edition also reflects the new commitments by global community to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically Goal 3 (good health and well-being for all), Goal 4 (Quality Education for all), and Goal 5 (Achieve gender equality).
