Contingency Planning is a process that analyses potential emergencies and their potential humanitarian impact, then establishes clear strategies and actions that must be taken to respond to an emergency. This resource guides the Humanitarian Country team, which includes a representative from Save the Children, on how to develop this inter-agency plan. While the Resident Coordinator leads this process, education specialists and managers will be expected to contribute. Additionally, as Cluster Co-lead, education specialists may develop a Cluster Contingency Plan, of which, this resource can serve as a reference.
