Integrated Management of Childhood Illness in Sierra Leone: Sucesses, challenges, and opportunities

This report is the result of a multi-level consultation with health workers, administrators, and leaders in Sierra Leone regarding the implementation of Integrated Management of Childhood Illness (IMCI). It is part of a three-country assessment of IMCI sponsored by MOMENTUM Country and Global Leadership. The report gathers diverse perspectives on IMCI in Sierra Leone, including success, challenges, and opportunities for the future. In this report, we seek to describe the current state of IMCI implementation in Sierra Leone, share participants’ recommendations for improvements, and offer topics for discussion to spur further action.
