This report is a documentation of the Child Protection Action Summit in November 12-14, 2008, held in Stockholm and arranged by the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs, the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), UNICEF, the Programme on Forced Migration and Health at the Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health and Save the Children Sweden. The purpose of this three day conference was to improve the work of organisations in order to better address care and protection of children in crisis-affected countries through bringing political leaders, policy-makers, donors, practitioners and researchers together. Special focus was given to strengthening linkages between research and programme response and supporting child protection systems in emergencies.
