The Impacts of the COVID-19 Outbreak Response on Women and Girls in The Democratic Republic of the Congo

Pre-existing disparities between men and women in terms of health, social protection and economic status are being exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic and its response in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

This report provides an integrated multidisciplinary analysis concerning the impact of COVID-19 and its effect on women and girls in the DRC. With the aim of ensuring that health, protection and economic security of women and girls is prioritised, by providing evidence to support decision-making for strategies to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic.
