Impact Transcending Challenges: The Lego Foundation’s Childhood Development Activity (CDA) Contribution Towards Save the Children’s Ambition (Ethiopia, 2025)

Save the Children, in collaboration with seven experienced local partners, implemented the LEGO Foundation CDA across five regions (Afar, Amhara, Oromia, Somali, and Tigray). The Activity targeted preschool-aged children in emergency-affected areas, aiming to improve early learning outcomes, holistic development, and resilience through play-based, child-centered approaches while strengthening the capacity of teachers, schools, and local education systems. Key findings: Increased Enrolment, Attendance, and Transition; Improved Academic Performance; Enhanced Teachers’ Competency; Improved Teaching-Learning Environment
