Save the Children
Despite a reduced number of out of school children in Cambodia, the progress of enrolment has revealed another challenge: children in school are not learning. In Cambodia, the quality of education provided in schools is very low, creating testing challenges for children learning.
Save the Children is responding with a project to develop and test a potential signature approach for Save the Children programming, to improve the quality of education in Cambodia. It aims to improve children’s learning outcomes and the development of critical life skills through improving the quality of learning environments (QLE).
This brochure introduces the project and the four guiding principles of QLE. Save the Children is working with a diverse range of partners in Cambodia, local and international. The project will take place between January 2013 and December 2018.
