Humanitarian Response Strategic Planning

A Humanitarian Response Strategy is a collectively developed, comprehensive plan of action for responding to a crisis. It defines priorities, gaps and accountabilities, and includes a detailed budget. The strategy should be presented within the first four to six weeks after the onset of an emergency. Country teams should refer to this document, which contains a template for the strategy, when developing a humanitarian response strategy.
