Cameroon faces multiple complex humanitarian challenges within the Lake Chad Basin conflict but also ongoing conflicts in North-West and South-West regions, as well as the Central African Republic refugee crisis, and natural disasters such as floods, cholera, and Mpox outbreaks. These crises impact approximately 4.7 million people, including 2.5 million children. Access and resources often fall short, leaving vulnerable populations at risk, despite humanitarian efforts. This UNICEF report, revised in July 2023, highlights different statistics about the humanitarian needs in the country and present stories from the field.
