UNICEF, United Nations Children's Fund

Due to multiple hazards such as the economic crisis and the COVID-19 pandemic, an estimated 7.9 million people – of whom 4.1 million are children – will be in urgent need of life-saving health services and humanitarian assistance in Zimbabwe in 2021. Furthermore, Zimbabwe is also facing challenges such as malnutrition, water and sanitation problems, and children in need of education. This appeal describes the ongoing situation in Zimbabwe, and the strategies used by UNICEF to respond to these.
