Humanitarian Action for Children 2021: Syrian refugees

With 5.6 million registered refugees – 2.5 of whom million are children – the Syrian refugee crisis remains the largest displacement crisis in the world. The situation is exacerbated by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent economic downturn. This appeal describes the challenges faced by Syrian refugees, and the strategies used by UNICEF to respond to these.
