Humanitarian Action for Children 2021: South Sudan

More than 7.5 million people – 4.1 million of whom are children – need multi-sectoral humanitarian assistance in South Sudan. South Sudan is facing multiple humanitarian crises including conflict, disease outbreaks, drought, and flooding. The ongoing difficulties in South Sudan are exacerbated by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. This appeal describes the challenges in South Sudan, and the strategies used by UNICEF to respond to these.
