Humanitarian Action for Children 2021: Mali

Over 287,000 people are displaced due to insecurity in central and northern Mali. 718,000 children in the ages 6 months to 5 years are suffering from acute malnutrition. 1.2 million children are in need of protection and 1.4 children requests education support. The crises in Mali are exacerbated with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the climate change. This appeal describes the ongoing difficulties in Mali, and the strategies used by UNICEF to respond to these.
