Humanitarian Action for Children 2021: Latin America and the Caribbean

The Latin American and the Caribbean region is facing concurrent humanitarian crises. The difficulties in the region are exacerbated with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, which has caused rising unemployment and other impacts that may push millions into poverty. This appeal describes the difficulties in the Latin American and the Caribbean region, and the strategies used by UNICEF to respond to these.
