There are three overlapping humanitarian emergencies in Bangladesh. Natural disasters such as floods and cyclones have forced millions of families into vulnerability. In Cox’s Bazar District, there are over 860,000 Rohingya refugees who are highly dependent on international aid. The difficulties in Bangladesh are exacerbated by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. This appeal describes the situation in Bangladesh, and the strategies used by UNICEF to respond to these.
