Save the Children China
Localised centres for children in China are offering potential for the development of community-based child protection networks and services. These local centres are physical spaces for children, integrated with multi-sectoral approaches, and each focussed on different themes. These centres can contribute to the initiation of a broader child protection system which would, strongly and effectively, implement China’s child protection laws, plans of action and the state’s commitment to the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
