The case study created in partnership with IFPRI, U. Washington and Save the Children amongst others, and discusses the Nutrition Embedded Evaluation Impact Evaluation (NEEP-IE) which studied the impact of adding an integrated agriculture-nutrition behavior change communication component to an Early Childhood Development (ECD) package delivered through community-based childcare centers (CBCCs) in Malawi (Sponsorship). This study explores the enabling factors that informed and led to the government’s decision to scale-up nutrition sensitive actions through Malawi’s ECD program. Preliminary results were shared in an IFPRI policy seminar on the Malawi NEEP-IE project available here.
This case study was prepared as part of SEEMS-Nutrition (Strengthening Economic Evaluation for Multisectoral Strategies for Nutrition)
