Household Economy Analysis (HEA) Livelihoods Baseline: the Kazinga Channel Cassava, Maize, Fruit, Vegetable, Cotton Livelihood Zone, Uganda

This report presents the findings from a Household Economy Analysis (HEA) livelihoods baseline assessment carried out in the Kazinga Channel Livelihood zone in Western Uganda (UG 28). The zone sits between the Rwenzori and Queen Elizabeth National Parks. It describes the four wealth groups in the zone and their main food, income, and expenditure expenditure sources, as well as their coping strategies and hazards they face. Finally, it makes some recommendations for future programming based on communities recommendations.
