Household Economy Analysis (HEA) Livelihoods Baseline Assessment: Rwenzori Lowland Maize, Vegetable, and Banana Livelihood Zone

This report presents the findings from a Household Economy Analysis (HEA) livelihoods baseline assessment carried out in the Rwenzori Lowland Maize Vegetable and Banana livelihood zone in Western Uganda (UG 29). It sits in the valley between Rwenzori Mountain National Park to the west and the Kibale Forest Corridor Game Reserve to the east. It describes the four wealth groups in the zone and their main food, income, and expenditure expenditure sources, as well as their coping strategies and hazards they face. Finally, it makes some recommendations for future programming based on communities recommendations.
