This HEA study investigated the extent of post-earthquake recovery in the disaster zone by measuring the basic components of household livelihoods — food, income and expenditure – and by assessing gaps between income earned and income needed to meet basic needs. This analysis also showed to what extent households remain reliant on humanitarian aid to meet certain expenditure targets (i.e., the MEB).
