Household Economy Analysis and Child Sensitive Data: Results from a pilot study in Yobe State, Nigeria

This document provides the results from a pilot study that sought to integrate a child focus into HEA analyses in Yobe State, Nigeria. The study piloted the development and use of varying data collection tools and makes recommendations on processes for future child sensitive HEA analyses, including for HEA outcome analysis. The analysis outlines the type of work that children engage in and their overall contribution to household income; the intensity of children’s work and risks and benefits of the work; and the impact of a shock on children’s health, protection, education and nutrition.
