On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 a pandemic. The virus has now spread across the globe and is a common threat to the health of everyone. One of the preparedness and response measures taken by many authorities is quarantines and home-isolation. During these circumstances, it is important to ensure the safety and well-being of children, who have specific needs.

This document includes a collection of global best practices for home-isolation, tailored for Afghanistan’s unique context.
