The Holistic Assessment of Learning and Development Outcomes (HALDO) report presents a comprehensive analysis of the education intervention implemented in response to the devastating floods that affected the districts of Naseerabad, Jaffarabad, and Khairpur in Pakistan. These floods disrupted education for thousands of children, particularly those from economically disadvantaged and displaced families. The HALDO assessment focuses on the learning outcomes and social-emotional development of children enrolled in Temporary Learning Spaces (TLS) established under the ECHO-ERADA project. The assessment evaluated a range of skills, including literacy, numeracy, social-emotional learning (SEL), and executive functioning (EF), providing insights into the effectiveness of educational interventions aimed at bridging the learning gap for children aged 7-13 years.
