This research, explores the mental health challenges faced by LGBTQI+ children and youth in Nepal and Bhutan. Despite significant legal advancements, these individuals continue to experience violence, discrimination, and social stigma, leading to severe mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and suicidal ideation. The study highlights the lack of targeted mental health interventions and supportive professionals, creating barriers to accessing affirming mental health services. Through comprehensive data collection and analysis, the research identifies systemic gaps and proposes recommendations for policymakers, mental health practitioners, and community leaders to develop inclusive and accessible mental health support systems for LGBTQI+ youth. Key findings emphasize the need for culturally competent care, enhanced peer support networks, and targeted policy reforms to address the unique needs of this marginalized group.
