Handbook for Children Participating in the Pre-Session of the Committee on the Rights of the Child

This handbook has been developed by Child Rights Connect to assist those who accompany and support children to submit information to the Committee on the Rights of the Child as part of its reporting cycle. It contains practical information about how children can further engage by meeting the Committee during the pre-session week in a safe and meaningful way and the formalities that need to be completed for such a meeting to happen. It also includes the official working methods for the participation of children in the reporting process of the Committee on the Rights of the Child, which are the basis of our guidance and the framework of children’s interaction with the Committee.
