Guidance for INGOs on the Decision-making Process for Engaging with the MRM

Grave violations perpetrated against children in situations of armed conflict can be reported through the Monitoring and Reporting Mechanism, a United Nations led process. However, organizations may or may not choose to report violations if, for example, reporting puts children or staff in danger. This document briefly guides organizations through this decision-making process. Education Managers should work with Security Focal Points and Senior Country Office Staff to determine whether or not to report.
