Save the Children Spain
Over the past ten years Save the Children has been working against child sexual abuse in Spain, where one of the greatest obstacles in protecting children from sexual abuse and exploitation has been tied to lack of information and the inadequacy of existing resources on this issue. This guide, developed as part of the resource materials and updates produced in the context of Save the Children’s child-abuse prevention programmes, provides a list of available resources and programmes at both state and autonomous community levels addressing the issue of children and youth victims of sexual abuse and exploitation. It also includes a specialized bibliography of publications and other primary material of interest designed to raise awareness on child sexual abuse, aimed at parents/carers, professionals caring for abused children, and children and adolescents.
