Growing Up GREAT Video Series for Adults and Adolescents

Growing Up Great! is a scalable, multi-level intervention designed to improve sexual and reproductive health (SRH) and gender equity among very young adolescents and the important adults in their lives. It supports adolescents, their parents and communities to question and break down social barriers that prevent access to health information and services. It was piloted in the Democratic Republic of the Congo in 2017-2018 under the Passages Project.

This video series was used to engage parents and caregivers of adolescents in reflective dialogues about norms related to SRH. Each video features model parents from the intervention communities who have adopted critical health-promoting behaviors. After viewing, parents discussed content and how it could inspire them to make small, meaningful changes in their own households.
