Green Generation: Innovative project-based environmental education

Green Generation is a programme model for environmental education which can be implemented in formal or non-formal learning settings and includes a set of context-relevant teaching and learning resources. The aim is to promote greater environmental awareness among children and youth, and to equip the children and youth with the knowledge and skills needed to meaningfully participate in or lead climate and environmental actions. Based on this, children and youth can act as change agents in their schools, in their families and in their communities for the adoption of environmentally friendly and sustainable practices.
