Save the Children UK
This report summarises the main achievements and key lessons from Save the Children UK’s work in 2011. It outlines and discusses our programme and advocacy achievements in each thematic area across the theory of change.
8.9 million children were directly reached by Save the Children UK’s activities in 2011. We responded to 45 emergencies – including the conflict in Libya, the drought in East Africa and the floods in Pakistan – helping a total of 3.3 million children and their families.
The report also describes how we are investing in using evidence to improve what we do – both when things go well and when we meet difficulties.
